EVENT - The Hostages of Dragonspiral
Who: Martin Crieff (OU), Hazel Hawthorn, 'The Magician', Reiza, Yuusei
What: The kidnapped trainers and breeders awaken, joined by four others...
When: Day of the Kidnapping
Where: Dragonspiral Tower - The blocked rooms.
Warnings: None
Those who paid attention to the news will recall that a section of Dragonspiral was still inaccessible by the public; those kidnapped will now know why.
Waking up, the first thing you will realize is that you're very cold; the tower is quite tall after all, and you're in the peak room of it. There is light coming through cracks in the wall, but more importantly-
'Keeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeoooooooo...'
A colt pokemon lays injured before the kidnapped group, quite clearly injured by some force. Off to the side, stand three other pokemon, strong, and powerful in appearance.
Virizion of the Forest.
Terrakion of the Earth.
And none other than the kidnapper himself, Cobalion of Steel!
For the moment the pokemon seem to stare with varying levels of expectation, while guarding the only exit from the room. Though they merely stand guard now, they will react if one tries to pull anything they don't like- though admittedly, what they 'don't like' is a bit of an unknown for now, isn't it.

The slight red glow caused by her attempt isn't likely to be noticed unless someone looked right at her at the right time. The opportunity was short though as she stopped as soon as she realized she wasn't alone wherever she was. She'd made some progress with being more open about her powers but still... issues.
She just looked uncertainly at the powerful Pokémon in front of her for the moment.

The little Ralts' terrified crying seems to make Yuusei stir, though, so for him, the first thing he hears when he awakens is the soft wailing, even as he grunts to try and sit up.]

He thinks he passed out not even five minutes into the journey. If that. Which is really very embarrassing but it's hardly as though he could say to the angry, dangerous Pokemon 'Hey, d'you mind not taking me due to medical reasons?'.
As it is, he takes one look around (that odd girly-sounding eep certainly wasn't him, oh no) and really hopes one of the others knows more about what to do than he does.]

Reiza rolls over once she comes to, then sits up.] Mmn... What happened...?

She looked from the injured Pokémon to the three guarding the exit. Did they seriously just kidnap random people for help? That was certainly what it looked like.
"I uh, I think they want us to do something." She feels silly stating something that is probably obvious. Or will be when the others are more awake. However she is not bold enough to go try to do what she thinks they want done. Not without some sort of prompting beyond expectant looks.
And she's reluctant to bring out any of her Pokémon since she isn't sure how they'd react to that.

Virizion looks over the crowd before disappearing past Terrakion, the massive beast only briefly revealing the doorway as it leaves. While Terrakion allows himself the distraction however, Cobalion's gaze is ever piercing; he looks to the kidnapped, and then to the Keldeo.
Keldeo appears to be in dire condition; it would surely be impossible to move him!

[Yuusei narrows his eyes as he sits up, but any observation he makes is cut off by him being distracted by Veiler's whimpering, and it's a few minutes before he speaks, cradling the tiny Pokemon close to him.]
It's hurt. [Thank you for stating the obvious, Yuusei. Another narrowing of the eyes, as his gaze settles on Cobalion, then following its line of sight to the injured Keldeo. His eyes soften in concern.]
Perhaps they want help...

Good thing she has other ways if the others don't have anything more useful. Not that she even knows whether this is beyond her skill yet...
"What could have hurt it?" She takes a few tentative steps closer to try to get a better look at the injuries.
what is a posting order i certainly don't know
[He says that, but his mouth is tucked into a scowl of disapproval. He steps closer as well, much more firmly and confidently despite Veiler's scared mewling.]
hahahah at this point it's a free for all.
Keldeo cannot be moved- that much is clear. It mutters under its breath things that make no sense even in the pokemon tongue, its wounds not bleeding, but nonetheless quite clearly grave. Whatever did this is not anything they know of, or likely will know of, in fact- so there is no use applying the knowledge of this world to it.
Re: hahahah at this point it's a free for all.
More importantly a closer look at the injured Pokémon worries her.
"That doesn't look normal." The fact that they haven't been attacked yet is good. She'll just walk over at a more normal pace now. The thought occurs that the normal healing items available for Pokémon might not be effective. It probably wouldn't hurt to try them anyway though, right?

[Thank god Yuusei was wearing his backpack when he was kidnapped. There should at least be some basic first aid kit there.]

And while she's close she'll try to feel out the injury with magic even though she's not really good as sensing things that way yet. Failure was quite likely there.
Hopefully no one will notice if she seems to space out for a few seconds. She'd rather not try to explain what she's doing if it doesn't even work.

He may not be the best doctor, but Martha's drilled the basics of first aid into his head. It was necessary in a place like Satellite. First, to clean the wounds and make sure they're not infected.]

And she can't quite tell if the regular potion didn't help or if it's just that weak. She doesn't carry anything better though. She shoves the empty container in her pocket.
"Do you think stronger potions would help?" She's still worried about how odd the injuries seem to be. It was starting to look like she'd have to try healing magic.

[His face doesn't look sure, though, if his knotted brows are any indication. Meanwhile, he's applying what medicines he has to the wounds before trying to bandage them.]
Hopefully this won't sting too much...
no subject
He didn't have any of the more expensive potions or supplies from here, either.]
Er... if there's anything I can do, just, say so. Even if it's not much.

"Delirious?" There are a lot of possible causes for that. "Um, maybe fever, infection, poison... possession, curse..." She's obviously not comfortable bringing up the last two possibilities and is almost hoping no one heard her.
She's not sure whether it's a stupid thing to reach out and try to touch the Pokémon's face but, that's what she's going to do.
Hint- going all out with healing is better than not!
CCOoooooooooo...
The Cobalion gives a warning growl- it appears the potion didn't do anything as well, really, but better than nothing right? Still, it might be best not to touch Keldeo until he's a little better.

And Cloud lets himself out of his Poké ball. He's making sure to not do anything threatening.
He pokes at her with a paw and gives her a steady look. 'Try.'
Hazel barely heard the word. Cloud's been trying to talk to her this way for a while. At least she thinks he has. It was apparently something a lot of psychic Pokémon could do.
At any rate she could guess what he wanted her to try. She glances at Cobalion and the other people in the tower and sighs. Since the alternative seems to be watching the injured Pokémon suffer she's going to try ignoring her discomfort with doing magic in front of people.
"Just.. make sure they know what I'm doing." They meaning the kidnapping Pokémon. Wouldn't do if they thought she was trying something harmful.
She reaches out again, this time not quite touching the Keldeo.
Cloud nods. He'll make sure.
And despite knowing she probably doesn't have enough energy for this Hazel will start to gather her power to heal. She'll stop before she passes out or something though.
