The ghosts have long since faded, and the crisp autumn air hasn't dampened anyone's spirits in the slightest! Welcome! To the second Nimbasa Contest Showing! With the mild levels of participation and success from the last, Nimbasa City has more than encouraged people to come and attend or watch; the Entralink will gladly warp people to and from Nimbasa during this time, and if that doesn't work Iris is always willing to fly people around. Breeders, Trainers, and even Civilians are welcome, though the latter two must pay the entry fee of 2,000P to enter; be sure to fill out the paper work and above all have fun, even if you're just sitting in the audience!

Remember; post these forms under the 'Front Desk', and specify what contest rank you're entering!

If you haven't received a ribbon for the Normal rank of that contest, you won't be able to enter the higher levels; additionally, if you're entering the Performance Contests, state if you're entering under 'Beauty', 'Tough', 'Cool', 'Cute' or 'Smart.

If you're entering a Beauty Contest, specify what accessories are being worn; maximum 5 for Normal Rank, and 7 for Great Rank.

[ Sephiroth comes into the contest hall with the most deadpan expression ever on his face. He wouldn't be here if he hadn't caught his Vulpix trying to fill out the forms himself. ]

One for the Normal rank Performance in the Beauty category.

[ He doesn't care whether his demeanor is unnerving or not. The fee is deposited with the form before the woman can even mention it. The Vulpix managed to write his name on the form before Sephiroth caught him. That part is a bit messy since Vulpix doesn't have thumbs. Might want to think twice about commenting on that though. ]

[For those who didn't enter, are waiting in line, or are simply scoping the place out before the time comes. There are vending machines with nice cool drinks at the side, and some shops appear to have set up with accessories...

Oh! But they'll be asking for a Breeder's License if you expect to pay a reasonable price for those! Perhaps it's better to just sit and chat.]

[Well, he'll just be hanging out over here with the vending machines before he turns in his paperwork. He's eying the shops with accessories every now and then, but doesn't move from his spot.]

DRESSING ROOM/BACKSTAGE (Competitors & Invited Friends)

[If you don't have a friend taking part in a contest, you'll have to be extremely careful back here; there's a rather surly looking guard, and if he realizes you got past him...

The Dressing Room is nice and large, meant for both grooming the pokemon for the stage and allowing them time to prepare combos in Performance and Little Cup rounds. Do be careful not to go too far with those practice rounds though- fire/ice/lightning proofing only goes so far!]

Hazel was nervous. She expected she'd still be nervous no matter how many times she went through this.

Zack was sitting behind her, freshly groomed and waiting to have his accessories put on.

And Cloud was out helping Kunsel practice for the Little Cup. They were being careful not to get to rowdy. Didn't want to wear the little Buizel out before the match after all.

Suddenly, an Iris! She's with her Gible, and they happen to be training nearby!
"Okay! Go for the wings!"
She's got her Gible there, alongside her Salamence, who's sitting still. Gible used... Draco Meteor!

But then, she noticed Hazel. "Hey! Are you ready to lose?"

Don't mind Iris. She's competitive.

Hazel was a little startled by the Draco Meteor. Not so much that she couldn't reply though.

"Um... yeah." Confidence? What's that? She still can't believe she managed to get a ribbon last time.

Cloud is just playing moving target for Kunzel's Quick Attacks at the moment. Zack is pouting because he can't help unless he wants to make Hazel have to brush him all over again and he's a little bored.
