Thudding can be heard from within- the caravan is made of extremely strong material, meant to withstand the most powerful of pokemon attacks, but those inside also realize what will happen if they destroy what covers them.


As it is, thudding from the other side of a door that appears to have been barricaded almost with sludgey cords does not paint a pleasant image.
